About Us

Tim and Jill Menser, along with their two sons, Zac and Will, lived in Malawi, Africa during the years of 2008-2010 serving with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Tim was a professor of theology at the Baptist Seminary in Lilongwe, Malawi. Due to health reasons, the Menser family left Malawi to come back to their home state of Kentucky where Tim had previously pastored for 15 years. 

Over a decade later, the Lord began to burden Tim and Jill’s heart for Malawi, specifically the unreached area of northern Malawi. By God’s grace, the Menser family and a small team returned to Malawi in 2022. After many reunions with Tim’s former students and dear friends, the team saw the great need across the country. So, the original vision of five planted churches in the north began to expand. Many of Tim’s former students are currently involved in ministry, Malawi Baptist leadership, or church planting already.

Soon after the trip, “Every Village A Church” was born with the desire to see many in Malawi and across the world come to Christ. The work does not stop with evangelism! EVAC, Inc. desires for believers to be involved in a healthy church in their area (village) to grow, share the gospel, and plant churches in further unreached areas. Additionally, EVAC strives to help alleviate the many struggles of widows in Malawi. Many of the relationships and friendships built over a decade ago has led to our current partnerships in the gospel. Through this coordinated effort, our prayers are to plant churches and meet needs across the entire country of Malawi. EVAC is an official BACOMA (Malawi Baptist Convention) partner. We work alongside BACOMA, IMB personnel, Hope For Widows, and local church planting partners.
